Adding the Trust Payments iDeal or Bancontact payment methods to your BR-DGE retail channel requires you to collect some information for us from your Trust Payments Account. This article details the information BR-DGE requires, and how you can locate it.
iDeal & Bancontact are only available on BR-DGE retail channel(s) configured for eCommerce. If you are unsure if your retail channel(s) are configured for eCommerce, please contact BR-DGE Customer Support.
Trust Payments Account with iDeal & Bancontact payment methods
If iDeal or Bancontact are not currently configured as payment methods in your Trust Payments account you must contact your Account Manager or Trust Payments Support Team.
BR-DGE requires the following information to allow you to route payments to iDeal and/or Bancontact through our platform:
- Successful Redirect URL
- Error Redirect URL
- Notification Password
Please note that some of these details are sensitive. We ask you to handle these with care.
- How to locate your Successful Redirect URL?
- This is the URL that your customer will be redirected to when a payment has been successful.
For example www.your_domain.com/success.
- How to locate your Error Redirect URL?
- This is the URL that your customer will be redirected to when a payment has failed.
For example www.your_domain.com/error.
- How to create your Notification Password?
- Notifications are handled via the URL notification as described on this URL notifications page.
- In order to receive notifications when an iDeal or Bancontact payment has been successfully processed or failed a settlement rule must be created. This can only be done by Trust Payments themselves.
You will need to ask Trust Payments to define a settlement notification rule in your merchant account as below:
- URL Notification Fields Required:
acquirerresponsecode, acquirerresponsemessage, authcode, baseamount, currencyiso3a, errorcode, livestatus, orderreference, parenttransactionreference, paymenttypedescription, requesttypedescription, settlestatus, transactionreference - Site Security should be enabled using a password. That password is used to validate the authenticity of the notification content received from Trust Payments. This is the value we require for the Notification Password field.
- The URL for notification should point as a POST to our end-point processing the notification:
- Sandbox: https://sandbox.comcarde.com/v1/notifications/trustpayments/{YOUR BR-DGE RETAIL CHANNEL ID}
- Production: https://secure.comcarde.com/v1/notifications/trustpayments/{YOUR BR-DGE RETAIL CHANNEL ID}
Please contact BR-DGE Support Team if you don't have your retail channel ID.
